Cardiology is seeking:
Bioengineering PhD positions (m/f/d)
Project description:
The
bioengineering projects aim to establish human 3D-artery and -tissue
models using human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-derived cells.
The models will be used in studying disease mechanisms and therapeutic
testing for obesity and coronary artery disease (Details).
What you bring:
- Master’s student in biology, life sciences, bioengineering, biomedicine, or bioinformatics
- Skills in culturing and differentiating hiPSCs, biofabrication of tissue, and handling of 3D printers
- Strong interest in cardiovascular research
- Accuracy and reliability, initiative, organizational skills, and a high sense of responsibility
- Very good written and spoken English
- High level of communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
